Post card competition!
Archtober's 2025 Postcard Competition draws on this year's festival theme, Shared Spaces, in its prompt asking New Yorkers to delve deep into the common areas that shape our lives.
This post I did depicts Oakland Lake in Queens. I am from Oakland California, and one day I stumbled upon this nice wooded lake in Queens. So I decided to put it on the post card!
This is a house design competition for a family retreat house near a river all called Howard Fall in Pennsylvania, 2025
I wanted to create a house that is energy efficient, cost-effective to build, long lasting, and resembles pebble with its round corners. It has an underground geothermal air conditioning system in the open ground, a solar generating panels system on the roof. It provides open views onto the waterfall, and the meadow besides the river providing ample space for outdoor activities.
